UMO Helsinki Jazz Orchestra will perform at the Topelius-sali in Sipoo again in October 2026! Conductor-composer-pianist Christian Elsässer’s guest appearance with UMO has been cancelled. The Argentine-born composer, pianist, and conductor
Guillermo Klein – who worked as UMO’s Artistic Partner from 2020 to 2021 – will step in as the replacement conductor in Sipoo.
For this concert Klein curates a program of his own music, highlighting UMO’s own soloists alongside the Norwegian guitar virtuoso
Lage Lund, who is making his debut as a soloist with this orchestra. Klein also arranges two of Lund's compositions for this special ensemble.
The duration is about 75 minutes, without interval. No age limit.
