What is Ticket Cover?
When you purchase a ticket, you are already imagining yourself on the way to the event. However, sometimes there are obstacles in the way. In case of situations like this, it is good to ensure that you will not experience financial loss in addition to the disappointment.
As a customer of Lippu.fi, you can safeguard your purchases with our unique Ticket Cover. Ticket Cover is valid for the event stated in the ticket, and the insured person is the holder of the ticket covered under Ticket Cover. This insurance is provided by Tryg. Ticket Cover is available only for tickets purchased through the lippu.fi online store. Ticket Cover cannot be purchased or added to an order afterwards.
The insurance applies to the cancellation of tickets and possible add-on purchases due to the following reasons:
- Acute illness, injury, or death
- Fire or burglary in or at your private residence or your business premises immediately prior to the event
- Storm, flooding or cloudburst in or at your private residence or your business premises immediately prior to the event
- Divorce, separation, or termination of cohabitation
- Involuntary dismissal or lockout of you
- New employment following involuntary dismissal and where you are unable to take time off
- Re-examination
- Pregnancy conditions that, based on medical advice, make it unsafe for the you to participate in the event
- Fraud or a non-contractual cease of work
Applies to family members or a maximum of three (3) accompanying persons, whom have all purchased tickets as part of the same order. The insured will be compensated the original value of the ticket. Insurance does not cover Lippu.fi's service, payment method and delivery fees.
