Public transport

The easiest way to get to Viirus is by tram number 9, which has a stop right outside the door. Tram number 8 has it's endstop at the end of the street Välimerenkatu, while tram number 7 and 6T have stops at the start of street next to Hotel Clarion. Both stops are only a few minutes walk away from the theatre.
The closest stop with the metro is Ruoholahti, an 8 minute walk from the theatre.

There are two big parkinglots close to the theatre:
Länsisatama and Gräsvikens Europark
It is also possible to park your car at Messitytönkuja or Messipojankuja, where there are 2 hour parkinglots

Venue

Theatre Viirus is a Swedish-speaking theatre based in Helsinki. Viirus produces stage art for our own stage and for tours. In our performances we want to discuss current topics and themes and stories in a purposeful way, often in forms that are surprising and multifaceted. We also host many national and international guest performances.

Accessibility

Wheelchair seats are available for each show. Please contact Viirus beforehand to let us know if you would like to reserve a space for a wheelchair. Also let us know if you are bringing a guide-dog. Tickets for assistants are booked through Viirus, 09-440224
The stage is on the first floor. With car you can drive up to the main door. There is an accessible restroom in the foyer.

VIP Information

Viirus main performances are always subtitled in English and FInnish throught the free mobile app THEA. Together with the restaurant Skøgul, beside the theatre, we offer theatre dinner packages for the audience before or after the perofrmance. Contac Viirus to learn more. There is refreshments served in the lobby bar during intermission.
