Venue
The Alexander Theater is a house of culture with a true historic atmosphere. Its stage bustles daily with life and action, not to mention theatre’s rehearsal rooms and offices. The theatre caters well for visiting groups and its program includes domestic and international performances by top professionals in drama, dance and music, as well as various festival collaboration.
Theatre’s atmospheric hall seats about 500 seats, has a fully equipped stage and also offers a full catering service in the foyer. The building has eight training rooms and plenty of office spaces.

There are 3 wheelchair spaces for light wheelchairs in our auditorium (max width 74cm). For some performances it is also possible to book a space for an electric wheelchair. Due to the structures of the old house, our theater is not completely accessible in all respects.
Companion’s ticket is free of charge.
There is no induction loop in the house.
