The largest literary and cultural celebration in the Pirkanmaa region returns to Tampere Hall on Sat–Sun 28–29 November 2026. With a single ticket, you gain access to three festivals, as the Book Fair, Antiquarian Book Fair and Record Fair come together to create a unique experience.
The Record Fair focuses on music collecting culture and the world of audio – expect vinyl, rare items and live performances in the atmospheric Sopraano.
At the Antiquarian Book Fair, visitors can explore treasures of book history: old editions, collectible rarities and countless discoveries in the heart of the Park Foyer.
The festival weekend brings together the year’s most talked-about authors and works, in-depth expert panels, cross-disciplinary performances, as well as poetry, spoken word and music in the free programme at the Lobby Club.
Please note that the event programme is primarily in Finnish.
Tampere Book Fair is a cultural event for the whole family. There is engaging programme for children, and the event offers something for audiences of all ages.
Around one hundred exhibitors will be present. The large bookshop in Park Hall and themed stands offer Christmas gift books for the whole family – and during your visit, you can enjoy the literary atmosphere in cafés and restaurants at Tampere Hall.
Welcome to spend the most inspiring cultural weekend of the year.
