Power & Steel Festival 2027: ANGRA (BRA) live in Finland for the first time
A two-day indoor festival of classic heavy and power metal at Kaapelitehdas, Helsinki, 5–6 November 2027. Over 20 acts on two stages.
Formed in São Paulo in 1991, Angra fused the melody of European power metal, the structures of progressive rock and South American rhythms on their debut "Angels Cry" (1993) in a way nobody had heard before. More than three decades and eleven studio albums later, they remain a benchmark of the genre — and they are finally coming to Finland.
Also on the bill: epic metal cult heroes Virgin Steele, NWOBHM founders Tygers Of Pan Tang, and Fabio Lione's Dawn of Victory, led by one of power metal's most recognised voices. The newer generation is represented by Seven Spires, Power Paladin and Insania.
Confirmed line-up:
ANGRA (BRA) · Tygers Of Pan Tang (UK) · Virgin Steele (US) · Fabio Lione's Dawn of Victory (ITA) · Seven Spires (US) · Power Paladin (ISL) · Insania (SWE) · Metal De Facto (FIN) · Dreamtale (FIN) · Force Majeure (FIN) · Strider (FIN)
