These elements,combined with the rich textures of jazzguitar, double bass, piano, and drums, create acohesive sound where sensitivity and strength coexist.In the second half of the evening, the charismatic vocalist Mikael Konttinen takes thestage. Konttinen, who rose to national fame as a soloist at the Independence DayReception at the Presidential Palace in 2006, transports the audience to a world ofwarm swing classics and beloved evergreens. For this special evening, he is joined byan exciting ensemble with some of Finland’s top musicians: Joonatan Rautio(saxophone), Martin Söderbacka (guitar), Mikael Svarvar (piano and vocals), EevalottaMatikainen (double bass), and Mika Kallio (drums).
