Suburban Angels invites its audience to an archaeological dig set thousands of years in the
future to witness the autopsy of Ancient Bimbo.
Ancient Bimbo awakens to her own micro-era.

Directed by Minna Lund and written by Martta Mercedes Jylhä, Suburban Angels excavates
the concept of the bimbo as though it were an ancient relic. Through this lens, the play
explores the extremes of living and ageing as a femme in the consumer-driven West.
The premiere will take place at the Dailes Theatre in Riga in February 2027. The work is a coproduction between us, Dailes Teatris, and the Oulu Theatre.
