Accessibility statement: Lippu.fi online shop

Accessibility statement

This is the accessibility statement for the Lippu.fi online shop.
The statement was prepared on 31 May 2025. The service is subject to the Act on the Provision of Digital Services, which requires public online services to be accessible.

The accessibility of the service was assessed by the external expert organisation Newelo Oy.

State of accessibility of the digital service

The Lippu.fi online shop conforms to accessibility requirements for the most part (WCAG 2.1.). To ensure better accessibility, we currently recommend using the desktop view instead of the mobile view.

These features are currently being developed:

Content that is not yet accessible and the corresponding WCAG 2.1 requirement that is not yet met:

  • - Some image elements and the shopping cart navigation are missing alternative texts (WCAG 1.1.1).
  • - There are individual deficiencies in HTML heading structures (WCAG 1.3.1).
  • - The online shop has individual deficiencies in contrast ratios (WCAG 1.4.3).

Operability

  • - Some of the functions of the online shop, such as certain buttons, drop-down menus and navigation elements, are not operable with a keyboard alone. The seating chart is not operable with a screen reader/keyboard, but the user can pick seats with the ‘Best seat selection’ function instead. (charts and map services are not covered by the Act on the Provision of Digital Services). (WCAG 2.1.1)
  • - A mechanism is available to bypass blocks of content that are repeated on multiple Web pages. (WCAG 2.4.1)
  • - Visible focus is missing from some parts (WCAG 2.4.7).
  • - Some page headings do not describe the content of the page (WCAG 2.4.6).

Understandability

  • - There are deficiencies in the language versions of event pages (WCAG 3.1.2).

Robustness

  • - There are deficiencies in the markings of tabs that prevent assistive technologies from picking up on and presenting information to the user (WCAG 4.1.2).

Third party content

  • - All event images and texts are produced by event organisers. Potential accessibility problems are prevented by way of issued instructions.
