Ellinoora x Lahti Symphony Orchestra: Pop Sinfonia
Ellinoora creates an impressive pop-symphony experience at Huvila together with the Lahti Symphony Orchestra. Following her sold-out show at Nokia Arena in November, the artist performs her greatest hits reimagined with the accompaniment of dozens of strings and a full orchestra. The Lahti Symphony Orchestra is an internationally successful top-tier ensemble that, in addition to classical repertoire, has recently collaborated with acts like Apulanta. The evening promises a unique fusion of pop energy and symphonic power.
Spanning over a decade, Ellinoora’s career is filled with songs that have found their way into the hearts of Finnish pop fans, and which now take on a new form through orchestral arrangements. Led by conductor Ako Kiiski, a 22-piece ensemble from the Lahti Symphony Orchestra brings drama, sensitivity, and grand emotions to the stage—elements already inherent in Ellinoora’s music. "Ellinoora’s music is as if made for an orchestra; it is melodically rich and deeply emotional," says Kiiski.
The evening will feature over ten symphonic versions of Ellinoora’s most famous tracks. The collaboration between the artist’s own band and the elite orchestra creates a whole that simultaneously emphasizes the music’s grandeur, power, and intimacy. "This collaboration is a dream come true. I want to offer the audience an experience they will never forget," Ellinoora says.
