WHAT TYPE OF INSURANCE IS THIS?
Our LiveX Ticket Cover cancellation insurance is product-specific insurance that applies to the cancellation of tickets, hotel stay and/or meals, including any add-on purchases purchased through Lippu.fi for events in Finland.The insurance is provided by Tryg Insurance Company.
What does the insurance cover?
The insurance applies to the cancellation of tickets, hotel stay and/or meals and possible add-on purchases due to the following reasons:
Acute illness, injury or death.
Fire or burglary in or at your private residence or your business premises immediately prior to the event.
Storm, flooding or cloudburst in or at your private residence or your business premises immediately prior to the event.
Divorce, separation or termination of cohabitation.
Involuntary dismissal or lockout of you.
New employment following involuntary dismissal and where you are unable to take time off.
Re-examination
Pregnancy conditions that, based on medical advice, make it unsafe for the you to participate in the event.
Fraud or a non-contractual cease of work.
Applies to family members or up to three (3) companions, all of whom have purchased tickets or an additional service as part of the same order, and for whom Ticket insurance has been added to each ticket/additional service. Ticket insurance is only available for purchase with online orders.
Does not cover Lippu.fi's service, payment method and delivery fees. The price of Ticket Cover is 8,3% of the ticket price.
IN THE EVENT OF A CLAIM
If the damage is covered under these terms, you must notify Tryg's claims department as soon as practicable and before the event begins or the hotel reservation ends.
Complete a claim form and provide any unused tickets, or other necessary documents, as well as the purchase receipt to Tryg. The insurance does not cover damages incurred after the start of the event for which Ticket Cover was purchased, except for hotel reservations if canceled for a reason covered under this insurance policy.

WHAT IF I CHANGE MY MIND AFTER PURCHASING THE TICKET COVER?
You have the right to cancel the insurance purchase if the insured event is more than 1 month away. The withdrawal period is 14 days which is calculated from when you received the insurance terms and conditions:
- If you receive the insurance terms, for example, on Monday the 1st, you can cancel the insurance by Monday the 15th.
- If the cancellation date ends on a Saturday or a public holiday, the deadline extends to the next business day.
- The right to cancel ends automatically when the event mentioned in the insurance agreement has started.
- If the insurance holder is a company, there is no right of cancellation.
DO THE FOLLOWING IF YOU WANT TO CANCEL THE INSURANCE
Notify Tryg before the deadline expires that you want to cancel the insurance. If you make the notification in writing, such as by email or letter, you must send the message in time for it to arrive before the deadline.
