Pay your event tickets with Edenred's Virike benefits in Lippu.fi's partner webshops
Edenred's Virike benefits are personal employment benefits.
In Lippu.fi partner webshops, you can pay with a Mastercard-based Edenred card.
You can use Edenred's Virike benefits to buy event tickets only for yourself. More information about potential limitations is available on the Tax Administration’s website (in Finnish).
The purchases must be made under the same name you have received your Virike benefits.
You can only pay for event tickets with Edenred's Virike. The benefit cannot be used for tickets that include catering or other additional services.
HOW DO I PAY WITH EDENRED VIRIKE IN LIPPU.FI'S PARTNER WEBSHOPS?
Purchasing a ticket is done in the usual way by adding the ticket and any other possible products to the shopping cart.
Please note: Edenred's Virike benefits are personal and can only be used to purchase an event ticket for yourself. The benefit cannot be used for tickets that include catering or other additional services.
When paying with Virike, you can also purchase Ticket Cover insurance for your ticket.
On the payment page, you can choose how much of the total purchase amount you want to pay with Virike, and pay the rest with your chosen other payment method.
During the payment stage, enter your Edenred card information in the designated fields, as when paying with a credit card.
Once the Virike portion has been paid, the remaining balance of the order will be paid with your chosen payment method.
When paying with the Edenred Virike benefit, we charge a cultural payment method fee of 5.6% of the used cultural benefit amount.
WHAT IF I DON’T HAVE ENOUGH BALANCE ON MY EDENRED CARD TO PAY FOR THE TICKET IN FULL?
If your Virike benefit does not cover the full price of the ticket, you can pay the remaining amount with your preferred payment method.
Ticket types that cannot be paid using culture benefits
The Tax Administration has determined that tickets to the following types of events cannot be bought with culture benefits due to tax-related reasons:
Tickets for other persons, as the benefit is always personal
Fair tickets, as fairs are not defined as a culture event but rather a sales event (excluding some sports and culture fairs, for which using culture benefits is allowed)
Tickets including accommodation
Tickets including food or beverage services
Amusement park tickets
Casino tickets
Family tickets
Gift vouchers to others
Open tickets that have no certain specific date determined during the time of purchase (such as zoo tickets)
Important information regarding event/ticket cancellations when the order has been paid with Edenred's Virike benefits. Refunds will be processed in the following ways:
- If the event is canceled or rescheduled, the refund will be issued as a Lippu.fi gift card. The value of the gift card is the price of the ticket(s) without service fees. The Lippu.fi gift card will be sent to the email used for the order.
- Incorrect orders canceled within the same day will be fully refunded to the Edenred account.
- Refunds will not be issued in cash or via bank transfer.
