Helsingin oopperakesä-festivaali 27.8. - 6.9.2026 kokoaa vapaan kentän ammattilaiset yhteen ja tarjoaa ainutlaatuisen foorumin uusille teoksille sekä kansainväliselle yhteistyölle. Tapahtumaan on helppo tulla: esitykset ovat napakoita, lipunhinnat huokeita ja Aleksanterin teatteri tarjoaa intiimin tunnelman kaupungin sydämessä.
Polttava vapauden kaipuu, historian naisten radikaalit kohtalot ja lapsen näkökulma perheen mullistuksiin kohtaavat esitysten teemoissa tuoreella tavalla. Teokset lainaavat hahmoja historiasta, mutta tuovat heidät raikkaina ja suorapuheisina nykyihmisen koettavaksi.

Automatic seat booking
With automatic seat booking we will automatically choose seats available depending on your chosen price level and the number of tickets you require.
Seating Plan
The Seating Plan allows you to purchase exactly the seats you want for an event at a specific venue. Open the seating plan for an overview of all available seats, then click on the seats you want to select them.
Please note that the Seating Plan is not available for all events.
Currently not available
This means that the tickets reserved for your chosen price group or section of the seating chart are either fully booked at the moment, not yet on sale or their sale has ended.
Only single seats available
In your chosen price level there are now only single seats available. Although there may be a large number of seats available they will not be next to each other.
It may be possible to book consecutive seats in a different price level or by using the Seating Plan.
Concessions
Concession tickets are often available, e.g. to students, children and seniors. If purchasing concession priced tickets, proof of entitlement, e.g. a valid student id card, may be requested by the venue.

There are paid parking spaces in the courtyard of the theater.
More parking spaces can be found along the Bulevardi street and Hietalahti Market Square.
Accessibility
For those who need special assistance or wish to book wheelchair spaces, it is important to book in advance and notify the theatre of any special requirements. For further information and accessibility booking, please call: 0600 180 20 (2,03 €/puhelu + pvm/mpm).
There are 3 wheelchair spaces for light wheelchairs in our auditorium (max width 74cm). For some performances it is also possible to book a space for an electric wheelchair. Due to the structures of the old house, our theater is not completely accessible in all respects.
Companion’s ticket is free of charge.
There is no induction loop in the house.
