Middle ITE vol3 – ITE art in the middle of nowhere
Middle of Nowhere ITE art park's 2026 exhibition "Middle ITE vol3" is staggeringly wide and full of surprises. The exhibition presents the works of self-taught artists and there are a total of almost a hundred works and installations on display. The original and inventive works are made of wood, stone, metal and various recycled materials.
The exhibition is not a traditional gallery tour. It is a journey into the original and inventive world of self-taught artists in an unusual setting "in the middle of nowhere".
The exhibition is built on the ruins of the former market garden, the surrounding forest and the small main building. The outdoor route is about 700 meters long and it takes the visitor through different environments where art and nature intertwine in a surprising way. The Middle of Nowhere art park is a day trip destination for the whole family, and also features an atmospheric summer café with terraces. The exhibition is open from 24.6.-6.9.2026.
WEDNESDAY-FRIDAY: 2:00 PM - 7:00 PM
SATURDAY-SUNDAY: 12:00 PM - 6:00 PM
The exhibition is not completely accessible, but can be partially viewed with a wheelchair. The outdoor route includes a gravel path for part of the way, but it is too challenging to walk without an assistant. The duckboard trail is not accessible by wheelchair or stroller. The indoor exhibition, the terrace of the container café and the toilet are accessible. More information www.middleofnowhere.fi
