Blending elements of black metal, industrial, ambient, and experimental soundscapes, this event brings together four acts exploring different edges of dark and immersive music. From structured intensity to free-form atmosphere, the programme is designed to move between contrasting dynamics and textures throughout the evening. On August 1st in Helsinki, Beherit and Sum Of R will perform on the main stage, presenting two distinct approaches to sonic depth and live expression. In parallel, Dieux Des Cimetières and Rihmasto will shape continuous ambient environments on the inner ward stage, offering a more introspective counterpart to the main performances. Beherit A pioneering Finnish act rooted in early black metal, later evolving toward electronic and ritualistic ambient forms. Known for minimal structures and atmospheric emphasis, their work moves between raw intensity and trance-like repetition. Sum Of R Emerging from the cracks of the underground, Sum Of R transforms doom, drone, avant-metal and industrial textures into a suffocating, hypnotic presence. The Switzerland/Finland-based trio combines physical force, emotional intensity, and gradual sonic layering into slow-moving, absorbing compositions. Dieux Des Cimetières A project focused on atmospheric and neoclassical ambient expression, drawing from dark, martial tonalities and cinematic pacing. Their performances emphasize mood, texture, and spatial depth. Rihmasto An exploratory act working with minimalist structures and evolving soundscapes.
