Arppa heads on a concert hall tour this autumn before taking a break from live performances next spring!
Arppa will embark on a concert hall tour this autumn ahead of a planned break from touring next spring. The previous concert hall tour in autumn 2024 sold 13,000 tickets, with most performances selling out. Known above all for energetic and interactive live performances, Arppa and his band have risen to become one of Finland’s most popular live acts.
This autumn’s concert hall tour offers audiences a unique experience featuring music from all of the artist’s albums. During the first half of the concerts, Arppa will perform with an expanded acoustic ensemble, while the second half will shift into an electrified atmosphere with the full band. The tour lineup includes musicians Aaro Airola, Ville-Veikko Airaniemi, Eero Seppä, Okko Saastamoinen, Päivi Hirvonen, and Iida Savolainen.
Arppa’s career has progressed exceptionally quickly. The artist’s self-released debut album Laavalamppuja was released in August 2020, after which Arppa rapidly rose from promising newcomer to one of the most current and beloved names in Finnish music. In 2021, he received four Emma Award nominations in the categories Newcomer of the Year, Rock Album of the Year, Critics’ Choice, and Artist of the Year (public vote). In addition, Kinovalon alla placed third in Soundi magazine’s public poll for Best Albums of 2021.
The third album Valeria was released in 2023 and the fourth album Muovipussi kummittelee in 2024, both through Johanna Kustannus, further increasing the artist’s popularity. The fifth album Peppuni kanssa was self-released in September 2025, followed by a sold-out club tour with the Arppa 8-pack ensemble. On May 1 this year, Arppa and cousin Jiri also released the collaborative album Iltamat Pihlajassa.
