After inquiries in numerous interviews and fan requests globally, TSOP
will finally play live in 2026, on a tour spanning across Finland and Europe.
The Samurai of Prog (TSOP) is a world-class progressive rock collective known for cinematic
concept albums, lush symphonic arrangements, and striking visual artistry by Ed Unitsky.
The band was founded in 2009 by bassist Marco Bernard, who was soon joined by Finnish
drummer Kimmo Pörsti, and USA-based multi-instrumentalist/singer Steve Unruh, who
formed the core trio of TSOP.
They have since collaborated with legends including Jon Davison (Yes), Roine Stolt
(The Flower Kings), and Steve Hackett (Genesis), Ton Scherpenzeel (Camel, Kayak) and
Clive Nolan (Pendragon). Their acclaimed discography spans over 20 albums, from
Undercover to The Time Machine.
In 2026, TSOP will take their epic soundscapes to the stage for the very first time,
with a dynamic line-up featuring Marco Grieco (keyboards), Toni “Tony Riveryman” Jokinen
(guitar), Risto Salmi (saxes, EWI), Bona Sandström (vocals), Jan-Olof Strandberg (bass),
and Kimmo Pörsti (drums).
